I am glad to see SWO is getting this ride, but unfortunately I am taking my first trip there in August and will miss out on Manta. I really cant wait for more information from the park. I have ridden one flyer, Tatsu, two summers ago at SFMM and I was very impressed. I really thought the feel of the ride was very unique and I know B&M combined with Busch will make a great experience rather than just a ride.

Manta is supposed to swoop over a take of live stingrays supposdly.

Really? Sweap over a ray tank and skim across a pond? THAT SOUNDS REALLY AWESOME!!! However, I think water features are getting a bit too common on Busch Coasters.

Is it going to beat Tatsu's record? I meen, I audviously have NOTHING to do with Sea world, but I like knowing about the "facts". I'm usually exited about new "thrilling" or "good" coasters across the U.S.

What record does Tatsu even have?

Judging by the fact that AB reps have fervently refused to use the words "roller coaster" to describe this project, I think they're not going to try anything overly aggressive. That doesn't make it a bad ride - it just means they're going for something different than just a thrill machine.

The ride itself should be great. I don't think they are going for any records. They just wanna add a lot of cool new features never seen before. By the way people Fareignheit is now test running at Hershey. There are pictures on this link!http://www.brandonscoasters.com/rcdbhersheyfahrenheit1.htm. Click on the Fareignheit caption.

Tatsu is the tallest and fastest flying coaster, even though not many have been made. For those of you who don't know, the ones that you start on your back are not the same as flying coasters. Those coasters are called Flying-dutchman coasters, and they are made by Vekoma, not B&M.

Those are pretty painful.

Of course this is only "rumored" art work concept that has gotten out, but if it IS the new coaster/ride then I can't wait.

Justin, I would'nt call 'em painful, it's just hard to see when you are moving downwards. Also, it sometimes feels like you're ankles are sort of loose, so your feet might come out (as a feeling). That is REALLY freaky for the people who haven't been on a vekoma flying-dutchman coaster.

David, I tried the link, and it said "Error 404- page not found". I did it again, same thing. Then i tried ioacentral.com, exact same thing! I really want to know what this coaster is like....

All flying coasters are kinda painful for me. Especially when you hit the brakes and it takes like 15 minutes for the operators to unload the train and your just hanging there.

I'm not a huge fan of the flying coasters, but I really dislike flying dutchmen.

But I'm still really excited to see what Busch is planning for this. It could be a truly unique experience...or it could be as unexciting as the "slide through the dolphin tank" at Aquatica.

Eli, Not sure why I can copy and paste it and it works just fine. Same for just going to http://www.ioacentral.com as well. Might have been an issue when you tried, if it still happens let me know, and I'll try to email you the pics from it directly if you want.

If the ride will be like what it shows in the pictures, it should be sick.

David, it worked, so no need for email. Thanks for posting the site, though!

No Problem, I'm hoping those are correct pictures of it, but I wonder about the wing dipping in the water, just how wet will you get or how will they work it so you won't get wet...

Is it just Fox 35 Garth? Would be odd I think to announce to just one media on it, have to watch and see now...
