Tropical Storm Hanna reports

Busch Gardens Williamsburg: Here's the thread to post reports from the mid-Atlantic theme park regions that are facing Tropical Storm Hanna this weekend.

Tropical Storm Hanna is expected to hit Myrtle Beach, home of Hard Rock Park, soon, with the storm expected to track up the Carolinas and into Virginia over the next day or so.

That takes the storm, with its heavy rains and winds, past several theme parks, including Hard Rock Park and Busch Gardens Europe. BGE already has cancelled some BBQ events as a result of the impending storm.

Atlantic coast Theme Park Insider readers, this is the thread for you to post local observations. Stay safe and good luck.

No damage at Busch or Water Country and both parks reopened today (today was Water Country's last day of the season).

We had one house in our neighborhood damaged slightly from a fallen limb...but the tree was very old, so it wasn't a big surprise. Certainly not a testament to any strength of the storm...just an old tree that probably should have already been cut down a couple of years ago!

But there are a lot of trees around our local AB parks, especially around Busch Gardens. I am glad there was no damage.
