Pay no Attention to that Ampitheater behind that Curtain!

Six Flags Great America: Does anybody know what that Ampitheater at Six Flags Great America is for?

Its much easier to see during Fright Fest, but back by the Picnic area is a pretty large Ampitheater. What is it used for or what was it used for? It seems like something SFGA should be using. Perhaps a new Looney Toons Show?

Pretty sure they've had concerts there fairly regularly over the years. This year maybe not so much given their money situation.

Really? Thats cool. I have never seen anything out of there for the public and I have had a season pass for at least three years. It looks pretty well kept up meaning it probably is in some kind of use!

It's possible that someone else books and promotes the concerts. Kings Island has the Timberwolf Ampitheatre, but it doesn't get used as much as it used to because Riverbend opened up in downtown Cincy.

Putting on a respectable concert with a band that draws costs a lot of money up front. If the park owns and operates the theater, it's possible that they've put the squash on having any shows for the time being.
