Closing Day Crowds?

Kings Dominion: November 1st was crazy at King's Dominion!

The crowd at KD yesterday was the biggest I've ever seen in the post-Labor Day season, ever. Great weather didn't hurt, but the fact that BGE was closed might have contributed some, too. (The BGE folks had to kicking themselves. Yesterday was BEAUTIFUL in Williamsburg!) Great for KD, though. We left at about 8:30 and folks were still streaming.

I even said to myself yesterday that I wish Busch was still open. It was an amazing day!

I certainly recommend Dominator - rode the back row on Saturday...awesome! Great forces through the inversions and very smooth.

Because that is when I was there and rode it (ON SATURDAY!) Nothing else implied. Although, D did seem a bit faster and smoother than on my previous visits back in June, July. Maybe the cooler temps? Maybe I just appreciated it more since it took 45 minutes in line (ON SATURDAY!) ;0)

I get it, I get it... I was just wondering if they had done anything special every saturday to dominator, but that's got a really small chance... anyway, maybe domintaor's wheels were modified if maybe the checked the screws or something?

So Dominator's good on Saturday. Got it.

I try to avoid hitting parks on Saturdays, though. Anyone know how it runs on Thursdays?
