Check this BGE thread from 2008, it may have the info you require. The very last comment in that thread is all about Griffon.

James, I didn't reread it, but this is all I have to say, Amanda-- Griffon has a big seat in every row, which is a little bigger than the normal other 27 seats. For me, I sometimes prefer it in the back, because you get a lot more airtime. Oh, and also, B&M always has comfy, big chairs to fit into!

I can actually attest to that situation. Last year, my weight was at 298 pounds. I could not sit in the regular seats on Griffon at that time. There is one larger seat in the front row, two in the middle row, and one in the back row. On Griffon, height is not so much an issue. The main thing you have to watch for is chest size. If the chest size is approaching 52", you will need to sit in one of the larger seats (all larger seats have double harness belts).

By the way, at this point, I have lost 60 plus pounds and am still trying to go down. Not being able to sit in the regular seat on Griffon was the first incentive for me to get started on weight loss.

Gratz on the weight loss, Drew!

There's been a lot of dieting in my house lately too...and on a side note, dieting is a great way to cut down on expenses!! ;)
