Regarding the parking by the World Showcase entrance to Epcot... Posted March 22, 2010 at 10:07 PM Can anyone park there or do you need to be staying at a hotel there? Can I 'book a reservation' at a restaurant at one of the hotels and park there to enter Epcot? If so, how the heck do I even GET there? And, most importantly, is it worth all the hassle? Is it much more convenient than parking at the main entrance?

There is not any parking close to that entrance that I know of. There is a kind-of long walkway to that entrance from the Boardwalk and from the Yacht and Beach Club. The visitor parking lots at those resorts add quite a long walk too. I'd say it's not more convenient unless you are going to valet park at one of those resorts or unless you are going to really be eating there. If you have never been to the Boardwalk and want to site see and don't mind the long walk, then go for it. Posted March 23, 2010 at 12:49 AM The easiest way I know of to get there is follow the signs to the Epcot Resorts, and more specifically Disney's Boardwalk. I parked there alot only because I was meeting my brother who worked at the Boardwalk. I always hated entering the park by France. It just didn't feel right. I heard that now they give 3hr parking passes to visitors who are just eating there, but I have no clue if that is true.

I concur with Michael. I've walked into EPCOT many times from Boardwalk and can't recall any parking bays. That's not to say that there aren't any hidden from view. But I think you may be speaking about the parking for the nearby Resorts. In which case you will almost certainly need validation to park there.Posted March 24, 2010 at 8:31 AM I remember way back in '96 driving to the Poly for O'Hana's breakfast. They let you park with proof of dining. But I'm sure that recently that courtesy stopped. I may be wrong about this but I'm sure someone on TPI will have the answer.

No, you guys got it right. To "park" at EPCOT World Showcase, you would need to park at the Beach/Yachtt Club or the Boardwalk. I would only use that if you were going to World Showcase for a couple of hours, perhaps for Illuminations. It really is not that far and if you do not want to nessailry walk, you can take the boat!Posted March 24, 2010 at 1:10 PM Its doable, but you always risk getting your car towed. Here is something that you might be able to do: Park at the Boardwalk, go to EPCOT for a couple of hours, and then relax at the ESPN Club or listen to music at Jellyrolls after EPCOT closes.
