When is the best time to book a September trip to Universal?
Universal Orlando: Looking for tips on getting the best deal for staying at one the Universal's hotels and park tickets in September.
I am planning our first trip to Universal Orlando the day after Labor Day. We are planning on staying at one of Universal's Hotels. I was wondering when is the best time to book. Does Universal normally do specials like Disney for that time of year? If so, what type of promotions do they normally have?
I don't think it matters when you book it as far as pricing goes because the rates are set up for time periods and not when you book. We go every September and the whole month is wide open as far as it not being very busy. We always go around the 17th and we have a blast. The best rates are going to be when you book to arrive on Sundays and depart Thursdays. Fridays and Saturdays are generally higher rates plus the parks are all yours during the weekdays.
