Any Coasters Closed at SFMM?Six Flags Magic Mountain: Visiting in July 2010.
From Dan GuarenteI'm going to SFMM on July 19th and wondering if any coaster there are closed. I've been looking forward to going there for a while and really don't want to go there being disappointed a coaster is closed.

From Nick MarkhamThey don't have any major closures known at this time. Sometimes coasters will close for a short period of the day and then reopen immediately after fixed!

From Steph RamosWell....since my last visit to the park I've been hearing some rather odd rumors that Superman is getting a new look and partial ride refurb...

From what people are saying, part of the ride will be rethemed as "Bizarro" with the coaster going in a backward fashion as opposed to how it ran prior to its closing. The other track will remain the same and still be called "Superman: The Escape"
So, in other words...the two track tower coaster will essentially become two rides instead of one. Wheter this will count as another addition to the already established 16 coaster tally can be debated, especially if you're a Cedar Point fan...
From Nick Markham^Basically SFMM is taking my idea of having dueling Superman VS Bizarro. I won't complain though, as long as they follow through with the awesome idea, as there is so much potential.

May we suggest the following book for holiday reading?
The cryrogenic preservation of Walt Disney is the quintessential urban legend. Book One in TH Creative's Theme Park Trilogy follows the exploits of Milo and Baxter as they cross the country seeking answers about the Disney Company's most notorious rumor. While drinking a lot of beer.
