Universal getting a new waterpark?Universal Orlando: What else does Universal have planned under their sleeve?
From Tyler Bell
Universal has been doing alot of construction lately, and they have extra land big enough for a waterpark,on the side of adventure way road. Do you think they are getting a new waterpark?Posted July 21, 2010 at 6:57 AM

They might be thinking about one considering that the lease for the Wet n'Wild park's land is almost up for renewal and I doubt they are going to want to pay the huge increase in cost for that. So there is a good chance, but there is also a good chance they can negotiate a good deal for a renewal of the lease too. Time will tell.Posted July 21, 2010 at 8:11 AM EDIT: Also a lot of construction going on right now at Universal near the parks can be attributed to Halloween Horror Nights and them making the 8 houses and props to go in them. In addition to that this year is the busiest Universal's Soundstages have ever been so you might be seeing construction going on for sets that are used in some sort of shoot. If you could specify what construction you are talking about, thanks.
