Universal Orlando.. Construction?Universal Orlando: Something is being built behind JAWS.. Do you know what it is?
From Carrie Hood
Just last week while riding JAWS at Universal Orlando my husband and I noticed some construction off to the side of the attraction. It appears to be part of the hotels but we where unable to find a good view point. Does anyone know what exactly this current Plywood Palace is? Posted October 9, 2010 at 7:11 PM

Apartments? Really? Why does that really not surprise me overly much with Orlando. Just shocking how close they really are! Holy crap, someone is going to have prime 'people watching' from their living room windows! Posted October 13, 2010 at 10:10 AM

The apartments are being built to house International students working at Universal, but approximately 50% are also being leased to anyone else wanting to live there.Posted October 16, 2010 at 11:14 AM Universal currently house its International students on Conroy or Kirkman road, and give them a Bicycle to get to and from work. This will be much closer for them and also allows Universal to keep tabs on them. Its a great location, with a bus route running straight past, and close to the I4 and Turnpike. I've watched the construction since the start, back in Spring, and they really are shooting up. One block is nearly complete now. Not so sure they'd be the best in a Tornado though, lots of wood.
