Never ever go to Magic Kingdom on a Monday unless you have absolutely no choice! I would Wednesday or Thursday as the least busy days I think. The other parks, especially animal kingdom, are slightly less crowded on a mondays as a result.Posted October 14, 2010 at 3:19 PM PS: This now applies to Islands of Adventure at Universal as well. I don't know what it is about castles that make people beeline towards them lol

First, look on the Disney World website calendar for the Extra Magic Hours parks. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/calendars/.Posted October 19, 2010 at 9:52 AM Avoid whichever parks have Extra Magic Hours on that day. Right now, that means no Animal Kingdom on Monday morning, no Epcot on Tuesday morning, No Magic Kingdom on Thursday morning, and no Hollywood Studios on Saturday morning. (There are Extra Magic Hours in the evenings, too. But those tend not to affect morning attendance as much, and I always urge people to get to parks early.) So I'd do Hollywood Studios on Monday, Animal Kingdom on Tuesday, Epcot on Thursday and Magic Kingdom on Friday, figuring that the hotel crowd will move onto another park the day after its Magic Hours day.

I would say that any park with no Extra Magic Hours is OK. I went to Epcot on a Monday and found out that there was no EMH. I was in the green! Try it!Posted October 22, 2010 at 6:17 PM

You also have to factor in what time of the year your going to be there. In the heavy down peroids (between Jan 5th and about March 15, minus Valentines day) there really aren't very long lines to begin with. Posted October 22, 2010 at 7:29 PM Extra Magic Hours can throw things off depending on when you visit. I always found mid-week (Tues,Weds,Thus) the best days to go to almost any theme park provided it's not near a holiday. :)
