Best Day at WDW MK in JuneWalt Disney World: What is the least crowded weekday at MK in June
From James Koehl
I'm taking my family to Orlando from June 13 through June 16. We're going to do USF three of those days, but want to go to MK one day. Which of those four days (M-T-W-Th) will the crowds at MK be the least oppresive? Or should we just wait til we get there, watch the weather, pray for rain and take our raincoats?Posted December 6, 2010 at 10:04 AM

The honest answer is that "there is no best day." A guest planning a visit to the Magic Kingdom should always plan there day under the assumption that the park is going to be VERY CROWDED. Be there at opening, have three or four "must see attractions" and two or three "must see shows/parades" on your to do list and commit to staying as late as possible.Posted December 6, 2010 at 10:16 AM Also start thinking about making any dining reservations for June 2011 ... um ... NOW! (Or as soon as 407-WDW-DINE starts taking them for the days of your visit).

Hey! TH is back!Posted December 6, 2010 at 11:41 AM Anyway, I would say Wednesday because its the middle of the week. Thats my only reason!

According to a crowd calendar site I go to, Wednesday(15th) will be the least crowded day at MK (good guess Anthony). Tuesday and Thursday have Extra Magic Hours mornings (on-site guests enter early) and Mondays are always crowded because that is usually the first full day of vacation trips and almost everyone wants to go to MK first.Posted December 6, 2010 at 1:22 PM

As for Extra Magical Hours, I would just avoid the ones at opening, not closing because, and maybe this is just me, if EMH is going on, I usually go to another park and then, near close, go to the park with closing EMH. This is especially the case for MK.Posted December 6, 2010 at 3:42 PM

Thanks, guys! We're not staying on site, so EMH is not an option, and we're not planing on eating anywhere that we need reservations. I was thinking Wednesday would be best, and thanks for confirming that. I promise not to hold anyone responsible for the crowds. I know it will be crowded. I have every intention of being there early and staying all day. I might tell my family that the park opens at 6a.m. and they might get there at rope drop. Their idea of prompt is arriving the same day!Posted December 6, 2010 at 6:17 PM

Oh, as for rain....Posted December 6, 2010 at 9:18 PM Expect a short rainfall between 2pm and 3pm. It seems to always happen like clockwork!
