Universal Orlando: How long can you reuse them?

Universal Souvenir have always been one of my favorites. They're cheap beginning costs and cheap refils. But how long will the booths take them? Reading the small print on the side of one of mine (NOT a meal deal one) it said only for the date of purchase.... however we all know that's not true. My question is will they refill the cups even after that certain style has been discontinued? I have a cup from this past year as well as one from 2 years ago. Both red, both non meal deal.

As long as they're very obviously actually from universal it really doesn't matter how old the cups are. I've got one from last summer, one from last month, and one green men in black one from 7 years ago that's been discontinued. They refill all of them all the time without saying a word. :)

Thanks for that info on universal refill cups,i didn't know about them,good 2 know. i am coming 2 orlando in 3 weeks on holiday. can't wait =)

Just make sure you get the discount refill cups and NOT the meal deal cups - they won't refill meal deal cups ever again past that one day of purchase.
