Any chance of a Cheetah Hunt soft opening?
Busch Gardens Tampa: I just won tickets to Busch Gardens from a local newspaper, and I want to know when Cheetah Hunt will have its soft opening.
The free tickets from the newspaper expire on 12/31/11, and I want to go when Cheetah Hunt will be operating. I don't want to experience big summer crowds, so that leaves me to one question. When will there be a soft opening for the coaster? If not, what day should I go ride it?
I think i read the opening was may sometime.. do a search on TPI and see what pop up.. any time in may or early june is not toooo crowded, after mid june forgetaboutit.. till sept..

The coaster will seat 16 an be open on May 27th.
Looks like a late may opening.. stay tuned..
The SeaWorld Parks are pretty good about having soft openings for their rides. Manta had soft openings and Griffon at BGW opened several weeks before it's official opening date.
They are pretty good with soft openings, but I wouldn't go before the 20th or so, just to minimize the risk. If you can week, the first week of June isn't usually too bad. BG is always less crowded than the Orlando parks. As soon as it opens, you'll see word of it on the internet, so just keep your eyes open and postpone your trip by a week if you have to.
