Magic Kingdom Questions.Walt Disney World: I have a couple of questions about the park.
From David L.
While i brainstorm ideas about Expansions and such, i don't have access to what lies in every nook and cranny so i have a couple of questions. Posted April 21, 2011 at 7:31 AM -As you enter the park after crossing under the railroad, is the new mickey m/g is on the right next to the restaurant? -Opposite the mickey M/g is what? -Further down Main Street is just stores and restaurants right? -the dock on the east side of the hub used to be used for the swan boats right? -what is the dock used for today? -is the noodle station very big or does it share the building with anything(i know buzz and Monsters Inc don't)? from google maps, it has room to host a ride the size of snow white. -What resides in the remaining part of the Tomorowland skyway building? Epcot: That's all i have for now.

I can't answer all of the but I'll take a crack at it, correct me if I'm wrong others.Posted April 21, 2011 at 9:00 AM -Further down mainstreet yes there are lots of stores and restaurants/candy stores etc. Theres a neat glass shop I always stop at and casey's hotdogs on the corner. Lady and the tramp is around the area somewhere and offers some interesting surprises. Epcot

Yes, the Mickey m/g is on the right, in the Town Square Exposition Building. Opposite is City Hall and guest relations. Next to it is Tony's Restaurant.Posted April 21, 2011 at 3:26 PM As you go down Main Street, that is all stores and restaurants. The dock from the boats is now used for photographs and special events. The noodle station is quite large, and it shares/joins the buildings where Buzz Lightyear and Monsters Inc is located. The Remains of the skyway building are bathrooms. (Man, I miss the skyway!) Epcot:

There was some storage in the bottom floor of the skyway building along with the restrooms. I think it was like a stockroom for the tomorrowland merchandise kiosks. I don't know if that is still there since the remodel/deconstruction. Posted April 21, 2011 at 9:40 PM

Thanks a lot! last time I went to the Japan pavilion(about 5 years ago), I remember that the shop was under the main restaurant, and just a small part of it went into the big building behind it. I also remember some small exhibit, but they didn't take up all of the space. Has the shop been expanded? Posted April 22, 2011 at 10:46 AM

Here are my answers:Posted April 22, 2011 at 8:42 PM -As you enter the park after crossing under the railroad, is the new mickey m/g is on the right next to the restaurant?- TONY'S TOWN SQUARE -Opposite the mickey M/g is what? THE FLAG POLE I GUESS, BUT THERE IS THE HAT SHOP, GUEST RELATIONS, BAKERY, AND THE END OF THE EMPORIOUM IN THAT AREA -Further down Main Street is just stores and restaurants right?- YES, TO THE LEFT THERE IS THE EMPORIOUM AND CASEY'S, TO THE RIGHT IS THE COLECTABLE STORES AND THE ICE CREAM SHOP -the dock on the east side of the hub used to be used for the swan boats right? YES -what is the dock used for today? MEETS AND GREETS -is the noodle station very big or does it share the building with anything(i know buzz and Monsters Inc don't)? from google maps, it has room to host a ride the size of snow white. I THINK ITS NOT TOO BIG, I THINK THE SAME BUILDING IS USED, BUT MANY WALLS SEPERATE IT. I WOULD BE MORE INTERESTED IN SEEING IF IT HITS ANY MAIN STREET BUILDINGS -What resides in the remaining part of the Tomorowland skyway building? NOTHING REALLY, EXCEPT STROLLER PARKING. IT HAS TO STAY THERE IN FANTASYLAND BECAUSE IT HIDES THE HAUNTED MANSION AND ITS A SMALL WORLD BUILDING (THEY ARE WITHIN FIVE FEET OF EACH OTHER- FUN FACT) Epcot: -In Japan, what is in the building in the back as it is the size of the American Adventure building?I NEVER KNEW ITS NAME, BUT IT USUALLY HAS A VERY NICE EXIBIT ABOUT JAPAN- IN THE PAST IT HAS BEEN ABOUT BASEBALL AND JAPANESE TOYS.

There is an unused show building at the back of the Japan pavilion. There were plans for a Carousel of Progress type show about the history of Japan, but it was never builtPosted April 26, 2011 at 12:19 PM

Thanks! Posted April 26, 2011 at 6:46 PM Here a couple more questions: MK- -in Stich's building, is there anything else besides the restaurant? -Is the restaurant besides Small World going to survive the expansion? -What is on the 2nd tom sawer island besides the fort? -What is in the castle besides the restaurant and the dream suite?(especially the lower and upper floors) DHS- AK- thanks!
From Lauren Hayhurst
Wow, these are very detailed and interesting questions. I'm not very well informed but thought I'd share what I can remember...Posted April 27, 2011 at 1:16 AM -in Stich's building, is there anything else besides the restaurant? As far as I can remember, there's quite a large shop as well. -What is on the 2nd tom sawer island besides the fort? Next to the fort is the Old Mines and a lookout. AK- A train station, lots of open area for grazing, housing for animals, educational buildings. Hope that helps!
