Updates: the positivesUniversal Orlando: I just visited the Universal theme parks from June 20th to the 22nd, and here are some updates.
From Allison Bazzle
This past trip to the Universal Theme parks, I had a lovely time ! I will list some of the highlights! Posted June 26, 2011 at 7:14 PM The ride twister was so much better then I remembered it, I really enjoyed it! The effects were up to tip top shape! The Forbidden Journey ride was amazing and spectacular as usual! I was there monday the 20th at night and literally ran all the way through the castle right up to the ride with no one at all in front of me! There were no crowds at all that night. It was so cool! Also tuesday morning at the parks I happened to be at the right place, at exactly the right time! I met and took a picture in front of the castle with the Fred and George actors from the Harry Potter Movies!!!! Totally Starstruck! This trip these are my top favorite rides: 2nd- Men in Black Alien Attack! Rode this one about 12 times! The ride adds up points by the entire carts average score, which I think is unfair, because my friend, brother, and I would get so many points, but the others on the ride with us would do horribly. 3rd- Dr. Doom's Fear Fall! Rode this ride too many times to count! The express pass really works wonders! Eventually when lines were down, the ride operators just let us stay on! The Universal Studios theme parks, definitely made my Florida vacation amazing as always! I will never stop coming back to these wonderful theme parks! (:

I had my brother, friend and parents with me. Near to the end of the ride, right before you enter the huge aliens mouth, agent K tells you to push the red button! We all pushed it right when he said, and all got bonus points. I believe that's what got us the suit ending.Posted June 26, 2011 at 9:40 PM

Well Dominick, I have no idea then, maybe it's just luck, or true skill, no idea. hahaPosted June 26, 2011 at 10:25 PM And Terri, It was so great! I'm sure u'll have amazing fun in December!

Here's a little secret about the button . . .Posted June 27, 2011 at 3:34 PM -If everyone pushes (and holds) the button BEFORE Zed makes the statement about to push the button, everyone gets the extra bonus points. -Whoever is the first to push the button AFTER Zed makes the statement gets the bonus points and locks everyone else out of getting them. (If there were people holding it before, they'd get the points as well.) -HOWEVER, Once you push the button, you have just deactivated your gun and you can no longer score points off the big bug. So you have a choice, to either get the guaranteed points with the button, or chance it and try to hit the targets multiple times on the big bug (they look like 3 little moles on the right side) If you're a good aim, you'll get more points for shooting at the bug rather than going for the button.

Oh that makes sense Pygmy! When Zed would say to push the red button, my friend, brother and I all pushed it. But, only one of us would get the bonus and I didn't understand why. Thank you !Posted June 27, 2011 at 4:06 PM

To get the suit, you have to get a higher average than the cart you're playing against. I've gotten it a few times.Posted June 28, 2011 at 1:00 PM

Not necessarily, I believe if your car's average is above 200,000. (amount could be off, but it has been about 7 years since I last attacked aliens.)Posted June 28, 2011 at 8:22 PM

Nice to hear you had a wonderful time at Universal Orlando. Thanks for sharing the HP and the Forbidden Journey info. Next time I visit the place, I'll know to wait until night time to experience this great ride with a minimal wait. Posted June 29, 2011 at 11:10 PM
