Disneyland Acknowledges Theme Park Insider's Awards
Disneyland: On Facebook, Disneyland acknowledges TPI's awards.

On Facebook, Disneyland posted "Congratulations to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, winner of the 2011 Theme Park Insider Award for world's best theme park hotel!". It's interesting how they are starting to acknowledge fan sites other than Disney's own one.

Its good to see Disney noticing TPI.
I think its part of a larger wave with user generated content. Look at Yelp and Twitter.

I actually didnt notice the sign until it was pointed out to me by my brother and my brother-in law. They both asked if that was the website that I like to go on.
So I wonder how many new Insiders we've gotten from that sign.
That's awesome! Yeah, when I went to Islands of Adventure and saw the banner at Mythos, I smiled :D
Another fan site posted a picture of posters being displayed backstage congratulating DCA on its "Third Place in the Best Theme Parks category among all theme parks int he United States" from TPI. The site chose to digitally blur the Themeparkinsider.com reference, so think I'll return the favor by not mentioning their name here either.
