Found this release regarding the new Test Track...or should we say Tron Track? :)

Looks very interesting, but the release raises one big question for me. Is the new experience going to be totally virtual? Will we still get to experience the rush of winding around the building at crazy speeds?

No the ride isn't virtual. I posted a while back in this. Same track, but the idea is instead of testing in the "real world" if you can say the old version did, the test now are in the computer world. The cars will be places in the same thrilling test as before, but instead of cones abd barriers covered in dust from the 90's, there will be interactive visuals that show how each guest's vehicle holds up to the tests.

Gotcha...glad to hear it's the same layout. Nothing about it needed changing in my opinion. Do like the new Tron-ish look.

I wonder how the outside section and Tron like ideas are gonna mix.

The Tron Track approach fail to make the renderings look interesting. If the black background is what you'll see, it will be a big disappointment.
