Best day for Busch Gardens?

Busch Gardens Tampa: Should we go to Busch Gardens on Sunday 5/5 or Monday 5/6?

My husband and I will be in Tampa for our first anniversary 5/5-5/7. We are trying to decide between going to Busch Gardens on Sunday 5/5 or on Monday 5/6. This will be our first time there. Any thoughts on which day we should choose? Thank you!

Well first congratulations on your Anniversary. Since I just came from Busch Gardens Tampa just 1.5 weeks ago, I would say go on a non-weekend day. It is a beautiful park and make sure you hit MONTU….

Weekends are always busier at every park.

Yeah, if you are able, it would be better to visit the park on a Monday. The park will likely be far less crowded and you will be able to get in your front and back row rides on the best coasters in Florida. Really a Monday is a great time to go. Busch Gardens is such an awesome park and you'll be able to see and do everything you want without having to hustle up all day. Plenty of time for a nice leisurely lunch at Crown Colony House too. Don't miss the loaded ice cream cone at the sweet shop,it's plenty big enough for two! You'll have a great day. Heck I want to go now.

Thanks so much for your advice! I've only been to the Orlando parks and knew that was the case there, just thought I'd double check to be sure :)

Go to their web site. Some shows have an off day and check to see if Monday is that day. I think it was Tuesday but it may have changed. Also, the number of shows decrease on weekdays.

Sunday only also has a Latin music and food festival around Gwazi Park. This is a great park extra in that lots of food booths not normally there are available. There is no extra charge for the festival, just the food and drink you buy.

why not go BOTH days.. its hard to do Busch in one one. and you can get tickets for 2-3 days that are just a bit more than one day.

here is one that has 2nd day free good up to 7 days after first visit day.

thats a good deal..

congrats and have a good time.:)
