I recently stumbled upon a poll, conducted by behindthethrills.com, that ranks the premier theme park websites on the WWW. The poll can be accessed here. I have no doubts as to which website I am voting for!

TPI is only in 7th place? This is madness!

There's three sites I post on regularly. Two are listed. I'm not voting.

I don't get it either.... Screamscape is so disjointed and looks like a Craigslist page.

Voted TPI, of course.

What the heck is screamscape? It wouldn't load on my computer.

Screamscape is LOADED with popups and broken links. Almost everything is taken from other sites. I find something interesting once in a while, but it's a terribly designed site.

I like Screamscape but it's a bulletin board. I love TPI for not only the news, but the community aspect. The all-around best site on the web. Go TPI!

I voted for TPI. Screamscape is very biased. I have tried to send them news and they never posted. I was one of the first people to vissit Legoland in Florida and had a huge stockpile of photos. Nada! I was also sad to see the Disney and More Blog was not an option...

Disney and More should have been up there...But I still would have voted for TPI.

While I do read Screamscape, it is far from the best theme park website as it is just a collection of news and rumors. I've got a feeling the primary reason it gets so many votes is more because so many people use it and less because it is truly the best. I much prefer TPR and TPI (the two main theme park sites I use) as they allow member interaction and have much more interesting content.

I voted TPI because I am a puppet in the hands of Robert Niles! ;)

Actually, I voted TPI because of all the experts like you guys who provide so much good info and insightful commentary each and every day. If I ever started my own theme park you all would be scooped up and on the payroll in minutes (right after Tony Baxter and Robert Niles himself, of course)!!!

I'll run the in-park Waffle House franchise.

While I believe that TPI is the best website of the two I visit and post on a regular basis, I gave the vote to Orlando Park News only because that site is a hidden gem and was in need of a vote. Needless to say, my vote probably won't matter in the long run.

@Mike, you may have just cost yourself a very lucrative position on my advisory board. Shame on you.

Behind the Thrills is run by a former TPI contributor (Erik Yates)

not necessarily a theme park website, but surely lots of information:
