Readers' Opinions
8/10 This is the current Shamu show, and it has a video about the history of Shamu and has Shamu do a lot of tricks. My friend Steven and my brother Flynn liked. My mom said it was the best shamu show since the original. - Jack Borgeson I watched the late night show called Shamu Rocks. This is a high energy show featuring good music and special lighting and visual effects and of course those magnificent killer whales. I had watched this show in the past year in San Diego and Orlando and was a bit dissapointed with the lack of shamu stunts performed by the whales, but this past time I watched this show the whales seemed to be more involved and the show seemed a lot better because of it. This is a wonderful show and after the 9:30 performance of the show stay seated to catch the fireworks. - Manny Barron It was good...almost TOO good! I'd seen some kind of Shamu show about 25 years ago, back when it was just kind of amazing to everyone that a killer whale could be trained. Now, with perfectly timed music, twirling screens synchronized with every action, everything 100 percent scripted...it was so slick that I felt I didn't get an appreciation for how hard it is to train these whales. - Laurie Niles Loved every minute of the show. What magnificent creatures. Just a hint - go after the crowds have died down and watch the younger whales playing with each other. It is just like a couple of kids playing fetch for an object at a pool. We watched them for 30 minutes and could have stayed longer if our ride had not been ready to leave. - Clementine McTavish
