I have read that the ticketing to get into Diagon Alley is going to be distributed by Men in Black. If you are staying in a universal hotel do you still need to get a ticket or does staying in a universal hotel give you access without having to get a ticket .

Bingo. Hotel stays will get you early access, but you must enter during that hour. Once you leave, if you wish to return - or if you do not make it into the early access hour -you will need to get a return-time ticket.

i think you only get into the park an hour early, i'd imagine during that hour you can get in right away however if you leave after that hour you may need a ticket as they will need to control the crowds but i don't really know, just speculating
