The people who he appointed have no experience with running theme parks or attractions, never mind large scale commercial land use and development - which may have been the point. There's a bloody minister on the panel for goodness sake...
If you take a close look at what the Governor has achieved, it seems limited to appointing some of his associates to some sort of administrative committee and changing the district's stationery.
Which is unfortunate because I liked the RCID logo.
I wonder if we're going to see a sale of stuff with the old name on it? Would be nice as a collector...
At the very least I hope the next Governor changes back the name to Reedy Creek. The current Orwellian name is boring.
The very idea that someone like Ron Peri is being written into the pages of Disney history is appalling.
