Hey, was just wondering if anyone has seen any attendance numbers out of the Dubai theme parks. I'm watching a video on Motiongate the "walk with me Tim" channel, and its pretty dead.

Damn. So it probably wasn’t a “picked a bad day” thing.
Looking on the optimistic side, the UAE's decision to spend billions on theme park attractions yet not draw immediate massive crowds as a result creates a fun opportunity for fans who can make the trip to enjoy some rather impressive attractions without the hassle of long lines typically found at U.S. and European theme parks.
I giggled when Tim said he bought the "skip the line" pass! If he would have frequented TPI, he would have known better! :D
And there it is. Just reported on the front page today - Dubai Parks has closed Bollywood Parks Dubai.
They were all under 1.7 million annually, pre-pandemic, since that was the final spot reported in the TEA AECOM Theme Index report for the Europe Middle East African region and none of the UAE theme parks made it onto that list.
Even assuming that they’re close to that, given that they’re open every day, the math says an average of about 4,300 visitors a day. So we’re likely looking at fewer that that.
