Busch Gardens Tampa announced this morning that the park's new face-down drop ride will open to the public on May 1.
The media preview day is April 23, and Theme Park Insider will be there to cover.

I sure hope they can get this thing up and running smoothly. The last time Busch did a special type of drop tower, things...err didn't go so well. Given the complexity of the new seats, tests of all kinds are a huge must with only a few weeks to go.
