Walt Disney World today announced the latest addition to Disney Springs, the refurbished shopping and dining district now known as Downtown Disney.
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar will sport a 1940s aviation theme and seating for 150.
There's a tie-in to an existing Disney theme here as Jock Lindsey is Indiana Jones' pilot from Raiders of the Lost Ark. (No, I hadn't known that before Disney's announcement today, either.) The bar will feature several food and drink items that slyly nod to the Indiana Jones franchise, including "Rolling Boulder Meatballs."
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is scheduled to open this fall.
Wonder how many people will be rocking their Alden 405's at this joint. I will be.
Will Reggie be around?

Wouldn't Talespin be a better fit with that decor?
It's almost like they are bringing back the Adventurer's Club by taking baby steps. First with Trader Sams and then with Jock Lindsey's. Another place to take your money with high priced drinks and hard to reach servers.
A guess a better fit at Disney Springs than at DHS? Could have been a nice addition to the Indiana Jones area in the park.
That should be cool. Not sure Talespin is as well know as Dr. Jones. Just us of the right age. And considering that kid show only lasted 1 year. 1990 to 1991.

One only needs to look at Temple of Doom to find the menu. Coiled Wrigglies/Snake Surprise and Primate Parfait anyone?
