TPI editor Robert Niles on Frommers.com podcast
I just wanted to pass along a link to an interview I did this week about theme parks which is running on Frommers.com's travel podcast.

(Frommers, for those who don't know, is a huge travel guidebook publisher. I've been using their New York and San Francisco with Kids guides, plus their Yosemite guide, to help plan my non-theme park trips this year.)
Hope you'll take a listen.

Interesting interview.
I gotta say, Robert - I did not expect your voice to sound like that. I was expecting something more James Earl Jones-esque.
I hope I meet you at a bar sometime so we can talk theme parks all night (drinks on me).
Actually, when I did the interview, I had had surgery on my hand the day before (let's just say that if I want fresh-cut french fries in the future, I'm going to In-N-Out), so I'm going to blame the Vicodin and my lousy phone for my vocal tone.
Even though it was pretty much what I sound like... ;-)
You are the voice of the Nick Hotel tour right?
Yes, but I shot that the day of my sister's wedding, so I was also under stress.
See, I *always* have an excuse for my squeaky voice!
Good stuff.
Robert, ya know you have an open invite to be on another theme park podcast
Great interview! I did not realize you are an academian as well as a theme park expert! I enjoyed the discussion very much. We would love to meet you if you ever come to Busch Gardens Europe for a visit. Keep up the good work - your site has been very entertaining and very, very helpful! Thanks, again.
Oh, Robert - I didn't mean your voice sounded squeaky in the interview, I meant I pictured you as some sort of entity, like the god of theme parks. Or the prophet of theme park advice. Somethin' along those lines.
Hey, I *can* do a spot-on Mr. Burns.
"Exxxxxx-uh-celent..."
I really enjoyed the interview, thank you for posting it. It really was informative and enjoyable. I too didn't expect you to sound that way, you sound so "normal", lolol. I also thought you'd be like a radio sounding guy. LOL. (not that you're ABnormal, normal is good, not making fun at all!!;) You sounded fine. Did a good job!!)
