But I cant wait for my next visit to FLA next Dec(well before the x-mas rush). Nothing gets one in the holdiay mood more than spending quality time at WDW/USF!!!!!(also BGT).

Besides, there are video games to play!

If any semi-local get-togethers are planned, I'll be there. If not, then I'll most likely go with my backup plan, code-named DLR. :)
December 15, 2007 at 7:20 AM · I can understand being excited about spending the holidays at WDW (Walt Disney World) but this is the first time I've seen someone excited about holidays at USF (University of South Florida)...granted, the football team gave us a few thrills this season, and we're looking forward to the Sun Bowl, but still... ;-)

By the way, we now call it BGA (Busch Gardens Africa) vice BGT (Busch Gardens Tampa). Very close to USF, by the way, so you can kill two birds (preferably not partridges in pear trees) with one visit.

Merry Christmas, to all!

December 15, 2007 at 7:28 AM · Disney is incredible at Christmas!
December 15, 2007 at 2:33 PM · There is no way I'd go to Disney at Christmas. It is wonderful to be there the first couple of weeks in Dec. This time we are going mid-January. I'm hopinh for few people, extra short lines and/or no waiting. Is this possible at Disney in mid-January?
December 15, 2007 at 9:17 PM · I really wanted to see my illini play in fl but by some fluke they made it to the rose bowl. I am now going to epcot during the bowl game
December 16, 2007 at 9:39 PM · I'm Gonna spending christmas this year in Walt Disney World and i'm leavin for it this saturday, but still worried about the crowds...
December 17, 2007 at 8:35 AM · Thats a good question Mary, I too with my family are planning to go to WDW in january. Has anyone been there in jan. and how is the weather there during this time. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
December 17, 2007 at 12:18 PM · I wouldn't go near WDW Christmas week - been there; done that and it was awful!!! Going a few weeks before is much better - you can see the decorations, take part in any holiday activities and you miss the massive crowds. Disney isn't that bad mid-January, but check to see when their marathon weekend is - it can get pretty crowded at that time. Bring sweaters and jackets since it can be chilly - especially at night.
