Got a question for the head of the Busch/SeaWorld theme parks?

From time to time, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to interview the heads of top theme parks and theme park chains.

Tomorrow afternoon, I will be speaking with Busch Entertainment Corp. President and Chief Operating Officer Jim Atchison. (Hmmm... I wonder if they'll be announcing any news tomorrow?)

Whenever I get enough advice notice about these interviews, I like to give Theme Park Insider readers the opportunity to suggest questions for me to ask. So, lemme hear 'em. Submit your question for Jim Atchison in the comments.

Is there anything happening to add value at san antonio for lil ones? The rides are all too big , the sun with lil relief minus the pool. As fiesta did with wiggle world? We won't be able to go back to san antonio now as the value at fiesta for our young kids is far higher. Thanks kelli

What's going on at Busch Gardens Europe/Williamsburg with regards to rumors about park expansion and some plans for replacement of the Big Bad wolf area? When can we expect news about that? What kind of challenges do they face when making those kinds of plans besides Kingsmill neighbors worried about noise?

Doubt he'll have any real answer for that but it doesn't hurt to try.

Also now that InBev has just about sold the park, do they have to and how much trouble is it going to be to remove all that branding? I mean the AB logos are on lots of things at their parks; benches, sinks, grates, those horses, etc.

BGE - What will be replacing Big Bad Wolf?

Oh yes, if it is during the announcement that Blackstone has indeed purchased them, will there be any issues with SeaWorld and Merlin?

Can we expect InBev to love B&M just as much as Busch did?

What's going to happen to the famous Busch Clydesdales? Will InBev be keeping them at BGE?

Without saying what they are, ARE there plans to expand the park on the old site of the BBW?

In regards to Discovery Cove, are there still plans to expand this park and bring about more animal interaction programs in the near future? Also, how will AB no longer being involved affect the all inclusive food and drinks policy of the park. Will AB products remain as the adult beverage of choice, will they switch to a new company or will the park go dry altogether?

How does the Comcast bid for Universal affect the pending Blackstone/Universal bid for SeaWorld?

Assuming that the Blackstone/Merlin deal is finished by the time of the interview.. Will my platinum passport work in UK parks Thorpe and Alton Towers when I visit make visit next fall?

Also with respect to BGW, I noticed a large amount of injury reports related to arrow based roller coasters, and very few on B&M. After the Dragon Fire fiasco and the issues with maintaining/injuries on the Big Bad Wolf, are all future coasters going to maintain the relationship with B&M?

With rumours and speculation being thrown around about BEC's ownership, can we expect to see any major investment into any park in the chain in the near future?
From 74.110.117.32 on October 5, 2009 at 1:11 PM
With a rumored sale of BEC to Blackstone, what will happen to all of the Anheuser-Busch history in the parks, as in logos, branding, and of course the Clydesdales. It can't be Busch Gardens without the Clydesdales.

Also, did the Busch family show any interest in taking over the parks?

If someone else does purchase the parks how will it affect current passholders? Will we have access to the same parks we can now or will it change?
From 98.121.120.238 on October 5, 2009 at 5:02 PM
In addition to the question of the Busch family having interest in purchasing the park, do they have interest in keeping with the park? All of the animals would be lost without Ginny Busch. She and Julie and Jack are commonplace around there.

Concerning the old Hospitality House, now Terrace, in SeaWorld Orlando, are there any plans to revamp this building. It is now considered a horrible waste of space since they stopped handing out free beer samples. The traffic flow is nill compared to the past and it is horrible to see such a beautiful area where the Brewmaster's Club was held, just empty and wasted. Please let the new owners know that it is in desperate need of a makeover. The current situation is downright depressing to visit.
