Universal Orlando Summer Concert Series lineup announced; Drake, Nelly, Third Eye Blind, and more

May 3, 2011, 12:13 PM · Universal Orlando today announced it's Summer Concert Series lineup via Facebook:

"Announcing...(drum roll, please)...this year's Summer Concert Series lineup! That's right, you can rock out to artists including Drake, Nelly, Third Eye Blind and more!"

June Concerts:

June 11 - Go-Go's
June 18 - Nelly
June 25 - Third Eye Blind

July Concerts:

July 2 - Trey Songz
July 9 - Boys Like Girls
July 16 - Drake

All concerts start at 9:00 pm and are included with a paid Universal Studios admission, Annual Pass, or Multiday ticket.

May 3, 2011 at 4:27 PM · Not like I'm heading to Universal, but the only one of these "artists" I'd have even a modicum of interest in seeing is the Go-Go's..and I've seen them three times over the years. Besides, I don't think my girlfriend would appreciate a revival of my long-ago crush on Jane Wiedlin.

May 5, 2011 at 5:16 AM · Hey, I'd go watch some Third Eye Blind. They made some great records. Good songs that take me back to the high school days.

Universal at least owes them a paying gig. After all they probably used "Graduate" and "Semi-Charmed Life" on at least 10 teen comedies/young adult dramas in the late 90's.
