I voted ITTBAB. Poseidon has gone too far in this tournament.
Never seen either, but since A Bug's Life is probably my least favorite Pixar film (I couldn't even sit through the whole thing) I had to go with the Greek god of the Sea.
Quite honestly, I had to see just how Poseidon's Fury made it this far. I think, in each previous round, I voted for it. Which, honestly, makes me feel kinda dirty.
The madness must stop here! Time to kick the soon to be demolished attraction out of the tournament, and realize just how tough it is to be a bug.
Still refuse to vote for a Harry Potter expansion placeholder.
Tough to Be a Bug hands down. How did Poseidon's Fury even make the list?
I'm one of those rare birds I guess that really enjoys Fury. The water vortex, the ambience of the building, the water show. I love Bug too, but I went with Fury because I experienced it first and still enjoy it.
Mark, I always enjoyed PF too, but not sure it really deserves to go much further in the competition if I'm honest.
The water tunnel is awesome (I never experienced it not working) but I feel Uni could have given it a bit more love (even prior to HP).
We do always go on PF...but we also always go on the Bugs...
I am rather torn with this one!
Always enjoyed both, but my grandkids seem to have lost interest in Poseidon's Fury so have to give the nod to ITTBB.
The Poseidon water vortex is awesome, as is the amazing "twist" at the end. But if there's an attraction in Universal's theme park chain that most needs a video upgrade, it's the way-too-'90s-cheesy "battle" in this one.
Perhaps when Poseidon is converted to the Shrieking Shack.... /startinganotherrumor ;^)
I personally think PF could have been an extremely successful attraction, but every attempt to revamp it after the original version was worse and worse.
It's time this attraction came down and the valuable real estate within IOA redevloped.
My vote goes to bugs because its one of the best 4D show
Mark: You are so right about PF. Great theme idea, one of the best outside themed areas, great vortex. But the show is so poorly written. Bad story, bad plot, way too corny. It could have been a great attraction. But it's only very average. It aspired but never ascended.
Bugssssss
It's tough to be a Bug: Is an example of a bad movie (by pixar standards) making a great attraction. It's probably overseeded (ncaa tourney term) but easily beats PF. Which for my money would be a great re themed Ministry of Magic with the final scene being a magic duel with updated technology
Poseidon's Fury gets my vote because I´m sick of 4D movies in themeparks. Both attractions have an awesome exterier that doesn´t live up to the experiance inside but the water vortex comes close and is awesome!
Gotta go with Poseidon's Fury because I've never checked out Be a Bug! Plus I'm half Greek, so I'm biased towards Poseidon!
If I were writing an end of term report for Poseidon' Fury it would read :
" Has some strong points but really could do better if only it tried harder ".
"Bugs" , on the other hand, always delivers. My only criticism would be the uneventful pre-show wait. PF is a little better in this area but not by much. It has something to offer you while you wait but it's only mildly entertaining.
The water vortex ( is that still with us ? ) at PF is a fantastic experience and some of the other effects are also pretty good. However I get the feeling that something's missing. Maybe it just needs a re-vamp and some TLC but , as it stands, ITTAB is a winner. Not by a KO but on points over 12 rounds.

ITTBAB wins here. Maybe if it was the original version of PF it would be different.
But I have to ask...how did Bugs become a second seed!?
