Universal Orlando gives USA Today a look inside Diagon Alley

May 16, 2014, 8:54 AM · The media blitz continues for Universal Studios Florida's new Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley. Have you been entering to win a trip for four to the grand opening? NBC's Today Show sweepstakes for those trips continues through the weekend, with daily clues and looks from inside the new land.

And today, USA Today is publishing additional photos and a walk-through video from Universal Orlando.

The article doesn't offer anything new to Theme Park Insider readers: we've been down this road, er, alley, time and time and time again. But fans will enjoy clicking through the photo gallery at the bottom of the article, which includes some fresh pictures from inside Diagon Alley in addition to the images Universal already released earlier this week. Here's one, as a sample:

Plus, there's some insightful commentary from a certain website publisher in there, too. ;^)

The jump in attendance at USF should be astronomical for the first couple of years. FINALLY, the "ugly sister" park of USF will have its own glory. I am getting all hyped up about our upcoming trip from watching all of these videos.

As I posted in my trip report last year, Universal had changed so much in a short amount of time, even without Diagon Alley. Rip Ride Rockit, Transformers, Simpsons, Despicable Me, Cinematic Spectacular, etc... it was already on its way to being even with IOA with regards to premier attractions.
