The Tonight Show comes to Universal Orlando and Diagon Alley
ORLANDO — Jimmy Fallon and the rest of NBC's Tonight Show kicked off their week at the Universal Orlando resort last night. Here was the cold open sketch from the show:
Love the Miami Vice spoof, leading into the Universal Orlando shots. But what's up with riding the Hogwarts Express from Universal Studios Florida to Islands of Adventure, then running back into Universal Studios Florida? ;^) Of course, only we theme park geeks would notice that!
Later the show, Jimmy and Higgins go wand shopping, showing off their irreverent "Universal" humor:
The Orlando shows continue tonight through Thursday, with music performances in the park for the show each night. Although the show tapings are "sold out" (tickets were free), park guests can see the music performances at the park's stage each evening. Jimmy Buffett's up tonight.
