Disneyland to Close Its Mad T Party November 30
Disney announced today that the Mad T Party at Disney California Adventure will close November 30.

Don't expect Disney to drop the nighttime dance party concept, though. Both the Mad T Party and its predecessor ElecTRONica proved to be popular with a free-spending young adult crowd who bought a lot of adult beverages while listening to DJs... in this case wearing glowing white ears.

Disney's hinted at a replacement, which will likely be more a change in theme and style than concept. Which Disney franchise theme do you want to see California Adventure employ here: Big Hero 6? Tomorrowland? Maleficent? Or the ubiquitous Frozen? (With daiquiris, margaritas, and other frozen drinks, of course!) I kid... I hope.

MARVEL. Or anything other than Frozen.
Mad T Party and ElecTRONica seem to be abstract concepts. They don't involve an intentional Disney IP. To do Big Hero 6 or Frozen as nightime parties doesn't seem to fit how young crowds party. The kids will make a mockery of "doing the Elsa" (raising arms with wrist snaps) or "the Olaf" (walking penguin-like with arms swinging side to side). Maybe it's time to take a break until summer for the debut of the next party concept.
Considering the crowds that this type of party attracts, I'd rule out any of Disney's family movies as themes for a new party. If Disney is serious about a Marvel Land at DCA, a new party would probably be themed to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some way.
Could be something "Guardians of the Galaxy" related. Similar to what they had at this year's Villans Unleashed hard ticketed event at DHS this past October.
Star Wars dance off is suitable.
I would love to see Frozen. I'm going to be unpopular, but I love that movie so much. It's what got me into Disney again.

You're welcome

You Win
Our family really dislikes this booze party area of CA.
It wouldn't surprise me if they did big hero six. When I saw the film there where more 20 year olds in the theater than families.
I they put Iron Man in its place
I would possibly expect something like Ratatouille with rats serving drinks
Bring back ElecTronica and Flynn's!!! If not then a Wreck it Ralph theme with a real life Litwak's Family Fun Center.

Big Hero 6 or Wreck it Ralph could allow a pretty seamless integration of the arcade, not to mention some pretty amazing theming. They'd probably have to make a return to elecTRONica's style of DJing instead of the live singers.
