Thirsty River Bar and Trek Snacks has opened near Expedition Everest, in the Asia section of the park. The quick service location serves pastries in the morning and sushi and sandwiches in the afternoon and evening. Specialty cocktails, such as the Khumbu Icefall, Himalayan Ghost and Durbar Margarita, are also available, as are non-alcoholic beverages, such as the tropical-flavored Flying Yak and the Pink Lotus.
With its location near the seating areas for the new Rivers of Light show, expect Thirsty River to become a popular location for guests to pick up a drink or snack before that new nighttime spectacular, which opens later this year.
