Warner Bros. Studio Tour gets into the Halloween spirit

September 8, 2016, 5:01 PM · The Warner Bros. Studio Tour in Burbank is launching its own Halloween event next month. "Horror Made Here: A Halloween Screening and Twilight Tour" will run two nights, Oct. 28-29, and feature a twilight tour of the studio's backlot, followed by a screening of a recent Warner Bros. horror film.

Last year for the Halloween season, Warner Bros. added a "Horror Made Here" display of props and prosthetics from several of the studio's horror films to the Stage 48 exhibit on the Studio Tour. The studio once again is bringing some classic horror items out from the archives for display in Stage 48 for this year's event. The "head shot" illusion where visitors can get a picture of their head on a platter will be back, too.

Out on the lot, visitors will tour exterior sets and stages featured in The Exorcist, Gremlins, and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, among other horror films and television series. After the tour, visitors will watch a screening of The Conjuring or The Conjuring 2 while enjoying themed refreshments. Tickets go on sale Sept. 17 and cost $75 each. Visitors under age 17 must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older, as the screened films are rated R. The Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is located on Riverside Drive in Burbank, between Universal Studios Hollywood and the Walt Disney Studios lot.
