May 24, 2017 at 8:40 AM · You got yourself quite a good spot for your video. Your perspective of the ceremony was almost as good as what Disney streamed using 3 different cameras, including a boom cam. Hopefully you got some sleep last night, because based on your spot, you must have gotten to DAK pretty early this morning.

May 24, 2017 at 10:40 AM · I'm curious as to why have the "Opening Ceremony" a few days before the actual opening to the public. So it's still having soft openings until Saturday? Who is the MC? He has an interesting accent.

Can we say Cultural Appropriation? I don't remember seeing drumming in the Avatar movie. The land has an African tone to it, but I never made the connection when watching the movie. Seems like Disney needed to add something to it to flesh it out. Echoes of "Colors of the Wind".

I would love to eat there. Sounds like a nice invitation if only I was there.

May 24, 2017 at 3:31 PM · Shook hands with Joe Rohde this morning in the lobby of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Smart move by Disney to change the event to an earlier time. The skies opened up at 3 PM.
May 24, 2017 at 9:24 PM · Yes, thank goodness they changed the ceremony from 9:25am to 8:10am. Would have hated to have that ruined by the 3pm rain. Disney is just the smartest. Can they do no wrong??? I think not.
