Tournament 2018: Universal Studios Japan vs. Everland

March 20, 2018, 11:18 AM · We are into the second round of the 2018 Theme Park Insider Tournament, and today we are voting on two parks looking to advance to take on Tokyo DisneySea for the title of Best Theme Park in Asia.

In the first round, Universal Studios Japan defeated its sister park Universal Studios Singapore while Everland eliminated Korean rival Lotte World.

As always, we invite you to rate and review the attractions and restaurants at the parks we cover here on Theme Park Insider, in addition to voting in the tournament.

Europe semifinal: Wednesday, March 21
Disneyland Paris vs. Efteling

U.S. regional park semifinal: Thursday, March 22
Cedar Point vs. Six Flags Great Adventure

U.S. big brands semifinal: Friday, March 23
Disneyland vs. Magic Kingdom

Asia final: Sunday, March 25
Tokyo DisneySea vs. TBD

U.S. regional park final: Monday, March 26
Dollywood vs. TBD

Europe final: Tuesday, March 27
Alton Towers vs. TBD

U.S. big brands final: Wednesday, March 28
Islands of Adventure vs. TBD

Tournament semifinal: Asia vs. Europe - Thursday, March 29
Tournament semifinal: Best park in America - Friday, March 30

Tournament final: The World's Best Theme Park - Monday, April 2

Can't see Universal losing on this one. So it will be a Tokyo vs Osaka Asian final.

Everland really isn't that great. Living in South Korea, outside the safari area, its rather underwhelming.

Hahahah I’ll vote for Universal. Everland looks like nothing great, Universal Japan is on my top 10 bucket list parks!
