What's on the menu at Disneyland's Festival of the Holidays?
The Disneyland Resort has revealed this year's marketplace menus for the Disney California Adventure Festival of the Holidays.
The holiday food festival runs concurrently with Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, starting this Friday, November 8 and continuing through January 6, 2020. Visitors will find a few logistical changes this year, as Disney has removed four of last year's food marketplaces — Blissfully Braised, Spicy Celebrations, Visions of Sugarplums, and Winter Wonders — leaving eight for this year's festival.
As a result, a few dishes have moved around: the Reuben Potato Tots with Russian Dressing and Rye Toast is now at A Twist on Tradition, and the Beef Pot Roast on a potato roll is now at Winter Sliderland, for example. And a few dishes have changed: the turkey on the Turkey Slider at Winter Sliderland is now fried instead of roasted, and the Yule Log Merry Mashups is now Churro-flavored instead of Black Forest.
That leaves us with three new dishes (that I found) to try at this year's event (pictured below):
- Reimagined Beef Wellington at A Twist on Tradition
- Pork al Pastor Naan Taco with Pineapple Pico de Gallo and Cilantro-Lime Crema at Merry Mashups
- Curried Cauliflower & Chicken with lemon tahini sauce and black garlic drizzle at Grandma’s Recipes

Beyond the marketplaces, the Paradise Garden Grill again is offering its Viva Navidad menu, with burritos, street tacos, pozole, torta al Pastor, and a vegan Chile Relleno. Other California Adventure restaurants also are adding holiday-inspired dishes during the festival, including Apple Fritter Bread Pudding and Pumpkin Soup at Pacific Wharf Cafe, a Tamales Plate at Cocina Cucamonga, and Loaded Latkes at Smokejumpers Grill.
