Holiday Kitchens Highlight Epcot's 2020 Year-End Festival

October 22, 2020, 2:23 PM · The Walt Disney World Resort today revealed more detail about the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays celebration that will kick off November 27.

Epcot's annual holiday event will run through December 30 this year. The traditional Candlelight Processional is off the schedule due to the pandemic, but visitors will be able to enjoy 15 holiday kitchens serving holiday favorites from around the world. You will find the food booths around World Showcase in Mexico, China, Germany, Italy, American Adventure, Japan, Morocco, France, and Canada, plus three in World Showplace and two more in Showcase Plaza.

For entertainment, the Voices of Liberty will carol in the America Gardens Theatre, while Mariachi Cobre will perform in the Mexico pavilion and the JAMMitors will take the Mill Stage in Canada. Inside the World Showplace, Epcot will present "Joyful! A Celebration of the Season" featuring "R&B, gospel, contemporary and traditional Christmas and holiday music."

Character meets will take the form of processions around the World Showcase, including Queen Anna and Elsa in the "Frozen Holiday Promenade," Mickey Mouse and his entourage in the "Mickey and Friends Holiday World Tour," and Santa Claus taking a horse-drawn tour around the park, as well.

While the holidays start on November 27 at Epcot, they begin November 6 elsewhere at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Taste of Epcot International Food and Wine Festival runs through November 22 at Epcot.
