New Marquee Coming to Walt Disney World's Entrances

October 26, 2020, 1:37 PM · The Walt Disney World Resort will refresh its entrance archways with a slightly new look.

The resort is showing off concept art for the entries, which the resort says will complement the new color palette from the repainted Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom.

It looks nice, but I must admit the flags seem slightly tacky and I will miss the nostalgia of remember all of my drives past the old sign... oh well, the world moves on I suppose.

So they repaint the castle pink, yet they paint these columns to look like historic castle grey stones? C'est la vie. Nice that this is a cohesive re-do, losing non-matching elements like the cloud castle, which was from the ill-advised "Disney Parks" logo that didn't catch on. Loving this deep blue that keeps being used.
