Team member preview is said to be on April 18. Soft openings will commence after that, once the state inspection is complete. They could start anytime between the 18 and 22nd, I've heard. An annual passholder preview is scheduled for May 4-5.

I'll be walking through the ride this Friday, and am getting into a media preview during the soft open, so we'll have lots of coverage coming up. And there's the Thierry Coup interview on the site here if you can't wait for spoilers galore.

Screamscape is reporting that USH's Transformers will be an upgrade from Signapore. How? Well it's going to use the same quality picture and sound as Star Tours: The Adventures Continue and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, plus Spider-Man's new 3D Glasses (NOTE: If you wear real glasses, they 3D glasses may fall off your head. It happened to me in Spidey).

I wonder if Transformers will be open immediately after the park opens, at least for this summer. Usually Universal Studios Lower Lot, where Transformers is, opens half an hour after the park opens for the day. I wonder if Univeral plans on doing this because of this new ride. I can't seem to recall if they did this with RotM when it opened in 2004.

The current plan seems to be to open the Lower Lot one hour before the posted park opening and close it one hour after.
