Changes to MK's Pirates
Walt Disney World: They said its supposed to be an element from the fourth movie and will be added overnight.

People are speculating that they will be adding mermaids or Penelope Cruz. What I think it will be is either:
A cheap interactive element in the queue.
FASTPASS.
A random prop from the fourth film in the
treasure trove scene.
Any guesses?
I'll go with Penelope, as long as she rides with me and only me.

Very funny Mike! Im betting on her or the mermaids, but an interactive queue was confirmed some time ago.

I could've sworn they already had an interactive queue while I was there in August. Guess I wasn't paying attention. But, I really can't say which change they would rather go with. Maybe we'll see a little bit of both go in.
Mermaid animatronics would take like a day at LEAST to fit into that ride. A Penelope is way more likely or a prop. I really don't want mermaids.
Maybe it's meet-n-greet with the real Penelope!

Hey Daniel, I have a feeling that would turn into a meet-n greet-n-stay too long-n-now we have to file a restraining order against a ton of guest.......if it were the real Penelope!

Can they just change it to be more like the version in California?
Barring that, they should give away Jack Sparrow Guy-liner as you enter the queue.

I'm not saying it's mermaids... but it's mermaids.
Debate right now is over if it's going to be an animatronic or via digital projectors onto the large "black netted holes of DEATH" cut into the scene currently.

It says on Disneys official site that Pirates will be down for 1 day still.
Blackbeard/Davy Jones mist screen replaced by Pirate Duffy.

I would comment on Penelope and her sister, but that wouldn't be family friendly.
Weren't the changes supposed to be here after Pirates had its one-day rehab?
I'm with you, I expected the changes to happen yesterday.
