Coming in 2010 Alton Towers have confirmed that a new "world first" rollercoaster will replace Corkscrew in 2010. Code named SW6 (secret weapon 6), the coaster, believed to be built by Intamin AG, will be themed around a haunted wood, much like Hex. Groundwork has begun and new advertising sign have been put up around the site.
