Man, touching the stingrays was REALLY cool. They felt slimy and soft. One of the stingrays even lifted his head above the water, let me pet him, and closed his eyes like a dog when I did. Definitely a must-see. - Tommy Rowbal Sea world is the world's finest marine exhibit/sanctuary. Unlike Universal Studios or Disney rides, your family can enjoy wonderful interactions like the stingrays without lines or waits. Our children when small had to be dragged away from this lagoon to see the other wonderful exhibits and shows. - jim mclaughlin Exciting interaction with stingrays. It's a marvellous experience and not to be missed. - Rob P Touching a sting ray is neat. The word slimy comes to mind when describing how they feel, but it would be better if you found out by yourself. The last time I went the stingrays were kind of shy and didn't seem to get close enough to the edge and it was kind of hard to touch them. But most of the time they should be closer to the edge. This is a neat exhibit located in the Key West section of the park. - Manny Barron My favorite part of the part. No restrictions, touch away. If you want you can buy food, but you don't have too. The Stingrays are actually "Cute" and seem to enjoy splashing people and being tickled. Its always one of the stops for me! - Gareth H Amazing experience. The young ones are so slick and adorable. They come to you whether you have food or not. Just be sure to always wash your hands afterwards. - Wilfredo Alvelo very cool. there are many different kinds of stingrays here. some are extremely large, perhaps three feet across and round and flat like a huge pie. some are tiny like a little bigger than your hand and with these little flippers shaped like wings. they all feel different too. i was afraid at first to pet one, but once you do it the first time its easier. also you can feed them now, although i wouldn't spend the money here unless you brought alot, as there are dolphins and sealions to feed too. some of the stingrays seem to like people, and they like to put there flippers above water and try to touch the people! some of them either don't like us, or are playing cause they come around and splash you! anyways don't miss it. also there are baby stingrays in a little section too. - roxy m I think these stingrays like being touched, as they appear to peek up out of the water as they near your hand, their bodies are very slimy to pet. I enjoy this spot always. - Nick Dakuginow
