Disney World expands secret menus for mobile order customers

August 7, 2018, 1:18 PM · Here's one more reason to use Walt Disney World's mobile ordering system at quick service restaurants: an expanded menu.

Ever since Disney introduced mobile ordering via its official in-park app, we have recommended that visitors use the option. It saves you the time waiting in line to order and allows everyone in the family to look over the menu and decide what to order without the pressure of people waiting behind you for you to make up your mind.

But now you also have some extra options to consider when you use the mobile ordering system, at least at two Disney World restaurants. Disney is listing a $17.99 Pork Belly Burger on the "Mobile Order Secret Menu" for Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe at the Magic Kingdom. (You can see the option listed on the Disney World website menu.) It's a "8 oz Pork Belly and Angus Beef blend topped with Smoked Gouda, Sriracha Aioli and Pork Rinds on a Brioche Bun speared with Fried Pickle Chips and served with French Fries."

While this option appears to be new, Disney also has had an expanded mobile order menu at D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs. That "secret menu" includes several options that previously appeared on the burger restaurant's regular menu, including the Bacon and Blue Burger ($11.99) and the Strawberry Shortcake Gelato Shake ($7.50).

So keep checking the My Disney Experience app when you are in the park to see what else shows up on those mobile menus! A Google search revealed that the secret menu is available just at Cosmic Ray's and D-Luxe currently. If you find another secret menu on your next trip, let us know.

The pork belly burger sounds interesting but isnĀ“t it a bit pricey even by Disney standards?

Cool. I suppose this is possible since an expanded menu will not hold up the line if ordering mobile.
