This year's event will fill the Long Beach Convention Center on August 3rd and 4th with thousands of haunt and horror fans. Presentations at past events have included reveals from Knott's Berry Farm's Knott's Scary Farm, Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights, and Six Flags Magic Mountain's Fright Fest, among many other haunts throughout California.
It's never too early to be thinking about Halloween and early birds who but their Midsummer Scream tickets early might be rewarded with free passes the event's Saturday night party, Midsummer Scream After Dark. (Free passes go to the first 100 fans to buy General Admission tickets, according to the event's Facebook page.)
The event also features the Hall of Shadows, a highlight of one of the largest Halloween-themed show floors anywhere. Want to get your haunt maze fix in the middle of summer? Midsummer Scream will hook you up, with Six Flags bringing a maze experience to the Hall of Shadows last year and organizers promising even better experiences for the 2019 event.
I am planning to be there in Long Beach for the event and I hope that many of you will be there, too. Tickets will be available on the Midsummer Scream website.Tweet
