More Hollywood stars join Epcot Candlelight line-up

September 20, 2019, 1:11 PM · Walt Disney World has announced the next two presenters for its Candlelight Processional at Epcot. Hollywood legend Isabella Rossellini and Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin join the line-up, which kicks off November 29.

Candlelight Processional runs three times nightly during the Festival of the Holidays at Epcot, continuing a tradition that began at Disneyland in 1955. Hundreds of singers join an orchestra and trumpeters to perform traditional Christmas music as a narrator recites the Christmas story from the Bible. While the Disneyland original plays on just two nights as an invitation-only production, Walt Disney World's Candlelight is open to all who can get seats in the American Gardens Theater in Epcot's American Adventure pavilion from around Thanksgiving through New Year's.

The original voice of Mulan, Ming-Na Wen, leads off by appearing from November 29 through December 1. Disney has yet to announce two narrators, but here is the current line-up:

December 2 through December 5: Neil Patrick Harris
December 6 and 7: Whoopi Goldberg
December 8 through 10: Isabella Rossellini
December 11 through 12: To be announced
December 13 through 15: Gary Sinise
December 16 through 18: Pat Sajak
December 19 through 21: To be announced
December 22 through 24: Steven Curtis Chapman
December 25 and 26: Edward James Olmos
December 27 and 28: Marlee Matlin
December 29 and 30: Lisa Ling

Performances are at 5, 6:45, and 8:15pm nightly. While walk-up, stand-by seating may be available, most visitors book their way into the show with Disney's Candlelight Dinner Packages. Even though the title says "dinner," lunch packages also are available in the program, which includes three-course (or buffet) meals, plus soft drink, at 16 restaurants in Epcot or nearby resorts. Package prices range from $52-85 per adult and include a reserved space for the show.
