Disney Reveals More Construction Photos from Shanghai Disneyland
Disney today released some construction photos from Shanghai Disneyland, perhaps to soft the (widely anticipated) news that the park's opening has been pushed back from late 2015 into 2016.
Here's a look inside the park's Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle of the Sunken Treasure, which will feature an omnimover-style ride system for its boats, instead of the water-pumps-inside-a-flume used in the other Pirates rides around the world.

This is Disney's concept art of the same scene:

Disney also released construction photos of the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel,

and the Toy Story Hotel, both under construction for the resort's opening.

Looks amazing. A major new Pirates ride may just be the sauce needed to get me to seriously think about planning a trip overseas!
Also, Bob Iger mentioned again that Star Wars is on the way to the parks and that Avatar is still in process.
And, of course, Disney is making money hand over fist (profits up 19% in the last three months of 2014 and attendance up as well).
Good news all around if you ask me.

Shanghai Disneyland is the subject of a recent podcast by WEDway Radio. It is a very good summary of what it will look like based on their available information. The hosts have been consistently good in their podcasts. Give them a listen.
