Orlando, Florida

About Universal's Islands of Adventure

Location: Universal's Islands of Adventure is part of the Universal Orlando Resort, located near the intersection of I-4 and Florida's Turnpike, in Orlando, Florida. You can get driving directions by clicking the Universal Orlando link on Theme Park Insider's Google map of U.S. theme parks.

History: Islands of Adventure opened in 1999, Universal Orlando's second theme park and the company's first not built around a movie studio theme.

It will feature three different areas: the forbidden forest, Hogsmeade Village, and Hogwarts Castle itself. Three attractions (not known yet) will come with this land, as well as many Harry Potter themed shops and restaurants.

Hours: http://www.universalorlando.com. Universal Orlando is open 365 days a year.

Tickets: Buy online. Always try to buy your tickets in advance, to save time when you get to the park.
